Volunteer With Us…

Learn some new skills

As a community driven organisation we are committed to providing opportunities for the whole community through the creation of jobs, volunteering placements and chances to learn.

Cycle Station has signed up to the Young person’s Guarantee through DYW Ayrshire and will continue to adopt the main principles from this scheme.

We work continuously to identify volunteers personal needs as well as professional and have adopted a flexible working approach around family commitments such as the school run and personal appointments.

From experience, these areas form barriers to being engaged at work or in a placement and by having this flexibility in place breaks down these barriers.

This also addresses discrimination against young families allowing us to attract parents into placements.

We provide training leading to formal qualifications and awards based on the number of volunteering hours completed with us.

Please get in touch for more details on how you could become involved with our operations.
