The Old Fire Station
Exciting Times!
We have now secured a 25 year lease on a fantastic building in Darvel, the building was at risk of becoming derelict and as we hate seeing anything go to waste we are now raising funds to rescue this building and bring it back to life to benefit the community with our services.
The building will be our training and education facility with a dedicated training workshop, training room and cycling facilities for use by the local community. The plan is to make this one of the most envinronmentally friendly and sustainable buildings around with solar panels, electric water heaters and infra red heating systems.

The building has a great story with loads of history and heritage being built as a fire station in 1906. The building is unique in the area and has great characteristics that we want to retain and save whilst refurbishing it to accommodate our expansion.
Work is expected to start in late summer 2022 and will be complete within six months or when funding allows. We currently have no plans to close the current retail store in Newmilns.
